Halifax Public Gardens (The), Halifax

The Gardens are Beautiful. I enjoy them many days as I work nearby and go there for luchtime with co-workers. The new food kiosk is a great disappointment. The menu is very limited for lunchgoers and the quality of the wraps/sandwiches varies and the place poorly staffed. Once you get it the coffee is excellent however the ice cream is expensive and over the summer we have seen many people with children walk in and quickly out after a price check. This is totally unacceptable for the Public Gardens should be for all to experience, especially children.

Adequate, not spectacular. Green growth in the ponds. Some flower beds are just routine clumps of annuals, but there is enough variety to keep the eyes entertained as a tourist.

Right in the heart of the city, this place is fantastic for wedding photos or just a quick need to relax from the daily grind. The ducks still waddle around and the bridge is one of the more popular spots. Even after Hurrican Juan a few years ago, it is coming back nicely and definetly a place to feel good in.

this place is fantstic ive been so many times it just doesnt ever get boring !! try going its brill for all the family! it is best to go during summer when the flowers are all out. overall it was amazing. jennifer levy

Overall Great Scenery, this cost you nothing to get in! It is very pretty scenery to rome around in and I very much recommend a stroll! Josh Glover
