Rip-off price for caesar salad

For $14 I expect a wondrous caesar salad, not some tiny pile of romaine in the centre of a huge plate. What a rip-off. On top of this, the creosote-soaked rope that rings the dart boards gives off such a toxic odour it is impossible to sit anywhere near them and retain any brain cells.

Not a Chef

After reading the reviews and then looking into the reason why such bad food and service, Well one reason is the current person filling the position as "Chef" is not even close. Check into her back ground, no formal training no apprenticeship and this is her first real job as "Chef"

Disappointing

I specifically phoned ahead and asked for a table with a good harbour view. We were seated next to a cupboard with a poor view. I was told we could come by the harbour ferry which was incorrect. The batter was not cooked on the fish & chips and the fish was mushy along with soggy chips. The salmon was dry on the other guests meals. All in all a most disappointing meal for guests who visited from Texas

Out to lunch

As a frequent visitor to Spinnakers I was appalled at the lunch my guests and I were served last Thursday. I ordered the 4 seasons pizza and I can promise you it looked and even worse tasted as if it had been made several days before. My wife's mussels were also less than appetizing and again did not taste freshly cooked. Really disappointing as we had guests from out of town. I'll be back for the beers but sorry guys you're off our lunch list. Phil Gibbs, Victoria BC
