Description

Attractions abound in this massive downtown park, a veritable rain forest within a metropolis. To name just a few of the activities and attractions: the Children's Farmyard, Miniature Railway, tennis courts, beaches, children's water park, heated ocean side swimming pool, the Theater Under the Stars, the Vancouver Aquarium, and the 10.5-km perimeter Seawall, which is packed with joggers, walkers, and rollerbladers. Once a military reserve, the park became one of the city's premier attractions by action of the city's first council.

How rubbish wuz stanely prk!

I hated stanely park. It was sooo boring! all you did was walk about the place and look at wee animals sleeping. Aye, sure, a real exciting experience!!

Meeting the real beauty!

A mysterious, ancient, wet rainforest. Magnificent, beautiful, touching your wild nature, awakening deep, sincere emotions of happiness, love to all beings... The forest shows you what is true and what is false, nature guides you to your real inner self.

My Visit to Stanley Park

Stanley Park is one of the recormendation I recormend when you go to Vancouver. It has a nice atmosphere, and you can take nice pictures there. The recormendation I will make about Stanley Park is to go to near the Lion Gate Bridge.

Wow! What a park!

Grab your skates or bike and hit the long, smooth paved trails circling this island in the city. With fantastic views of Vancouver from the rocky beaches and large grassy meadows to play sports, make barbeques or just read a book, Stanley Park is a great slice of Canada.

Summer breeze

Stanley Park is a great place to go biking, rollerblading or even walking along the coast in the summertime. There is an awesome view of North vancouver and Downtown. There are many friendly people excersing aw well. You can hear the waters crash against the wall and as you walk along the path, there are some tourist attractions such as water parks, totem pole park and random information about Vancouver.

one of the best parks

make sure your drive there and thus avoid fighting with the tour bus crowd. plenty of parking if you travel in reverse of tour bus route.

Can't See It All In 1 Day

Lots to do and see. The grounds are beautiful, bike paths a blast. Lots of trails and lakes. Start early in the day and wear comfortable shoes.A great time will had by all ages.

Best of Nature in an Urban Setting

One of the largest urban parks in North America set right next to the Downtown of the best city to live in the world, Stanley Park has everything for everyone, beaches, forest, aquarium, golf course, biking trails, and the best of all is that you can enjoy most of this for free . For a tourist city like Vancouver, Stanley Park is a must visit, the scenary alone is worth the trip.

Great Park!

If your going near Vancouver you have to go to this Park. Astonishing nature and unbeleivable beauty. Nice place to go with kids too.Don't miss the Aqarium there.
