Attractions abound in this massive downtown park, a veritable rain forest within a metropolis. To name just a few of the activities and attractions: the Children's Farmyard, Miniature Railway, tennis courts, beaches, children's water park, heated ocean side swimming pool, the Theater Under the Stars, the Vancouver Aquarium, and the 10.5-km perimeter Seawall, which is packed with joggers, walkers, and rollerbladers. Once a military reserve, the park became one of the city's premier attractions by action of the city's first council.

This park was a short walk from our hotel and we almost didn't go. I'm so glad we did! It was one of the highlights from our trip. It's so picturesque and relaxing right in the middle of a city. Alot of locals hang out there also so it's very good people watching. They also have cute restaurants that overlook the water so you can have a decent meal and take in the view.

I really enjoyed stanley park. We did some shopping, ate lunch, were visited by a friendly racoon and loved the view, sites and smells of the area. Just after summer and very beginning of autum is the perfect time to see the reds and golds of the trees along with the blues and greens of the sea.
STANLEY PARK HAS SO MUCH TO OFFER, BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, GARDENS, LAKES, OLD FOREST, TRAILS AND WILDLIFE SUCH AS RACOONS, SKUNKS, MANY DIFFERENT BIRDS. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO SPEND A DAY WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY AND BEST OF ALL IT'S ALL FREE, SO EVEN SOMEONE ON A LIMITED BUDGET CAN ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF THIS MAGNIFICENT PARK. TO SIT ON THE BEACH AND WATCH THE SUNSET IS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE.
Stanley Park is a great place to go biking, rollerbladin or even walking along the coast in the summertime. I go there every year to see the magnificent view of Downtown and North Vancouver across the Inlet. It is a very peaceful atmospheric place. You can hear the waters crash against the shore walls and smell the fresh tall trees. There are many people there who excersie there as well and you can see interesting tourist attractions on the way such as water parks, totem poles, and random monuments about Vancouver. I would highly recommend tourists to come experience the carefree atmosphere of Stanley Park and it doesn't cost you any money to enter!
