An excellent gallery for Northwest Coast native art with recent staff turnover
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/27/06
We have shopped for years at Douglas Reynolds Gallery and acquired some excellent Northwest Coast native sculptural works, plus some fine jewelry ("jewellery" to Canadians). The prices can be a bit high by American standards, but that seems to be mostly the result of how low the U.S. dollar is compared to world currencies at present.
The staff is friendly and becoming knowledgeable---and the turnover is entirely because the previous staff members have moved on to follow their dreams.
There are also several excellent modern furniture stores and other art galleries nearby, plus a wonderful French bistro at the French school about a block away that is always crowded at lunch time but well worth the wait.
