Deep Cove, North Vancouver District

As a Deep Cover myself, i just love the atmosphere of the cove. With its quaint little shops and cafes, i never pass up the oppertunity to shop my friends my favourite place on earth. In the summer i take advantage of the water and Indian Arm. The mountains and waterfalls make it so picturesque. I would recommend camping at both twin islands and granite falls down Indian Arm as they truly are some of best camping i've ever seen. I love Deep Cove and I really just cant wait for summer

Deep cove is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. In this tiny town tucked away from the hustle and the bustle has great restaurants with a nice boardwalk vibe- our favorite is Deep Cove Pizza, where the pizza and atmosphere are fantastic! We also love the gelato shops. The best part of Deep Cove is the waterfront, so calm and beautiful- it's a top spot for learning kayaking, which is obvious by the dozens of brightly colored kayaks dotting the shoreline. Lots of walking paths, play areas for the kids, and a boat dock as well. We're headed back in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait!

Deep Cove is something of a secret among Vancouverites. Those who discover it tend not to spread the word. If you're visiting Vancouver as a tourist, it's a great place to visit because few tourists know of its existence. There's also an amazing view of the mountains and the ocean and you can hike up from Deep Cove to Corey Rock, an amazing look-out point from which one can watch the boats come in and out of the harbour. Finally, the area is a great place to picnic and there's fine quality restaurants. Don't forget to visit Honey's as it has the best donuts in the city.
