Robson Street, Vancouver

Robson St. was part of my first trip ever to Vancouver. It did NOT disappoint me at all. There's so much to see, so many shops and lots of super restaurants. Downtown Vancouver is a very young city so there's lots of action and just off Robson a little ways there's a marketplace for groceries that's superb as well so even if you're travelling for pleasure or business and staying nearby, you can grab some treats or snacks for your room. That is, of course, if you have any room left after all the wonderful chocolate shops that are on Robson!

It's way better than shopping down in the states....I love thr atmospehere, the freindly staff at the stores, and well the stores!! It is not as intiminating as going to lets say a boutique in LA!....It's awesome take your family & your credit card, and go shopping & then head ou to dinner there as well

The Sea Wall goes all the way around the small island just outside of downtown vancouver. Its perfect for rollerblading, biking, walking or watching the fireworks in Aug. or New Years. Also the sunsets and sunrises are breath taking, perfect for a date.

I am suprised at the other user reviews. I am a 21 years old female and I find this street really lame in comparison to shopping areas in Spain, Italy, France, Japan etc, places where I have been shopping. The clothing shops are no better than any that you would find at a local mall. However, having grown up in Vancouver, there is no better alternative in this metropolitan. There are some decent restaurants on Robson, but better ones can be found elsewhere in the city (Broadway, etc). There are some good tourist style sweet shops on the street. There are also some tourist shops where you can find tourist items.

I like Robson Street in Vancouver BC because there are so many good things you can find. There are lots of fashionable,interesting stuff I can buy. Also, there are so many different restaurants so everytime I go I can taste different kind of food. That's why I like there so much.

I visit Robson st as often as I possibly can. It is home to the absolute best make-up store in the entire world(MAC). You can find all your clothing needs there. They have many stores just off the street you can visit too.Like Dipt, Soul to Soul, Off the Wall and the camo store.They also have a custom clothing store called Bang-On. They have the absolute best restaurants like Cactus Club, Red Robins and Hooters. All of these places have excellent outdoor patios. One of my favorite placces to eat for lunch is the infamous Crepe express! They have the best crepes in the entire world, and you get to watch them make it! That and other reasons is why Robson st is unarguably the absolute best shopping area in B.C.

I love hitting Robson Street whenever we visit Vancouver. The atmostphere is awesome! Cool shops and GREAT people. All the stores are super helpful and there's great food too! It's like an all in one shopping stop. Way better than any mall.

Awesome place for shopping! Great atmosphere. I would definately recommend it to others. Robson St. is a little bit on the pricey side. But overall, it's a great place to visit.

ACTUALY I HAVE NOT BEEN THERE ,ACCORDING TO FRIEND WHO VISITED, WE ARE TOLD THAT IS VERY NICE AND BEATIFUL AND THE POEPLE IN THE CITY ARE FANTASTIC,SOMANY MORE THAT WHY WE LIKE TO BE THERE AND SEE.

There's never a dull moment on Robson Street. Day or night there is always something interesting to see or do. The excellent variety of shops and cafes keep things lively all the time. There's bookstores, coffee shops, art museums, music festivals, clothing stores and unique restaurants all on one street. And if that isn't enough, check out Granville St for theatres and live music perfomances by well known artists. Robson St is the energetic centre of downtown Vancouver. No visit to this fine city would be complete without taking a stroll down Robson.
