Robson Street, Vancouver

Good mixture of trendy and value for money stores. Excellent eateries. Good place to visit when the weather is cold, you can duck in and out of shops.

Vancouver police in uniform but not uniformely friendly. When asked for help, officers ignored us and closed car window then just sat there for fifteen minutes.

Your typical shopping area, overcrowded with tourists. You can find more Oriental places to eat on this street than you can in Vancouver's own China town!!

If you really like Japanese people and Japanese food as I do, Robson street is the place for you! Great dining and an energetic atmosphere, plus a really good value add up to wonderful! After dinner, follow Robson street all the way to the shore of English Bay and enjoy a relaxing time sitting on the beach sipping some coffee from the local Starbucks. Great place, cannot wait to go back!

You will be able to find most of the high street shops and department stores there. If you only have a day to do your shoppings in Vancouver, that is probably the place you should go to.

A shopper's paradise. And good exercise given the amount of walking involved. This street has all the big brand name stores and a lot of designer stuff. Don't go here looking for a cheap bargain or something that is unique to Vancouver.

If you are a real shopper (I mean 5th Ave, Madison, Rodeo Dr., Robertson, Melrose, South Coast Plaza, etc.) you might be pretty disappointed here. This place resembles something more like 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica. Just to set expectations, don't expect any of the hight end stuff (yeah they have a Ferragamo, but the real stuff is off Robson). There were a couple stores that are worth mentioning - the Nike-like store (I forgot the real name) which carries a bunch of the limited eds and the Boy's Co., which is carries stuff similar to Barney's or Fred Segal. The other only good things are the restaurants towards the north end of the street, especially Hapa Izakaya. Food was fantastic - Japanese small plates (tapas). The waitresses were not only hot, but super-friendly too (won't find that in LA or NYC). The atmosphere was ver chic with contemporary easter designs and loungey electronica music.

I Like everything about Robson st. Dont need a car if u dont mind walking! Its all there food, shopping, bars, etc. And its located in the heart of downtown! O if u can stay in a hotel on robson or close to it. We stayed at the Empire Landmark Hotel. O i forgot it also close to Stanley Park!

Cactus Club Cafe 1136 Robson Street Vancouver, BC THIS WAS THE BEST FOOD EVER!! we must have ate there like 4 times it was the best of the best .. I give that a def ********I would recommend this club and bar and restaurant to all who frequent the vancouver area!! a must to eat TRY THE SALAD YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

i live here and i adore it time and time again.. its great any time of year the stores are abundant and amazing. its vancouver whats not to love
