agree with the other reviews, this is a cheap store with old stuff, not worth to visit. Go somewhere else near buy instead. Customer service feels like they only want you once, no expectation of return.

Went to buy a soft air pellet gun made of plastic. Went home and it fell apart springs and all out of the package . Went back same day and the guy behind the counter says not their fault. I walk out saying I'm going to report them to whoever will listen. He storms out after me in the parking lot and says if I was man enuff I should roll down the window and come out. So I roll down the window and he starts telling me he's been having trouble with his wife and he works out at the gymn a lot.After hearing his life story he agrees to take back the air pistol and deal with the manufacturer and come back next day. Next day I got my money back. Turns out ge's the owner.

Was in twice... first day 3 guys hanging around the entrance rowdy loud shoving each other around. Checked out prices. Got a concerned look from one sales guy he knew what was going on at the front. Went back the next day to purchase. Parked at the entrance and THE 3 IDIOTS were there yet again shoving loud and rowdy right in the entrance. I went and picked up what I wanted and went to the till. Now nobody worked there nobody gets paid and nobody knows where anybody is..so say THE 3 IDIOTS...however one of the rowdy guys who doesn't work there or get paid said he could ring me through. I didn't want to but I wanted out so I said okay..he never stopped his yammering with his buddies until I paid him and as he put my money into the till he wanted to know did I want my change 'cause he wanted to by game tickets and needed the money...so when did it become ok to harass the customer for money?? This guy was asking for a hand out at the till in the store....where are the managers where are the owners where were the real sales people that supposedly work there...why are these 3 IDIOTS still in the store???!!! I won't even get into the LYING RUN-A-ROUND I got when I tried to call and complain. Keep your eye on your money at the till and count your change.....would I go back ?? Yeah right!!!

Bought Outbound Mercury Guide 6 tent 3 years ago - hardly ever camp now because of it. This is a great tent - for the right person -well constructed - great to sleep in and to look at - - however it was sold to me with the female sales person knowing I'm a single parent with one child - I stand just under 5' 4" and my daughter was about 4' 10" when we purchased it. Even with two adult sized females now (child is now 5' 3.5") it is a struggle to get up. She spent a lot of time with us and I assumed she was matching the tent to us - that was what she indicated was her intention. So.... great tent - not so easy to set up. And if you have any disability in your arms - which I now do - its now time to sell it and find something that works better or give up camping completely. And never buy anything from Three Vets again.

The customer service was horrible! The fishing service guy (their so called expert) was an unfriendly, unknowledgeable jerk. In addition to that, any flies that you buy from this place will unravel and fall apart after three casts. Don't go there!

It's too expensive, the service is terrible, they don't care about their customers, and you can't get help.

This place has a wide selection and everything is reasonably priced.

I was there with my dad, as he is looking for a pair of boots for the winter. The store was having a sale and he found a pair for $49.99, but as he went to pay for it the cashier asked how much it was, since most of the shoes lost their price tag. She looked around and found the manager and asked him. The manager did not even check the price tag or the Point of sale system and said it's for $150. We even showed him the same pair with a price tag on it for $49.99, and he simply said it was a mistake. He said he will take it off, and walked away. No sorry, no apology, no nothing. The shoes is not important, but customer service was. I thought as a manager like him, one look and he is more than 40 yrs old, would KNOW what customer service is. 1 thing I can say is they have some pretty good equipment.

I went there today to buy lots of camping equipment and my trip to three vets started badly. From a small place like that you expect to get a more familliar approach then MEC but actually it was a really cold atmosphere. Nobody greated me, I looked at several products and none of the staff offered me any help again. Then I started to look at what they have and most of there prices are actually higher then most places and they only carry older stock. I even catched a fat redneck who works there at the knife counter talking against another customer at the end of the store with anoter coworker. After that it was enough for me and I went straight to MEC and I got an amazing service, new products at a really good price. Bad for them cause i spent 2000$ at MEC and not at 3vets. I'm really suprised that they are still in business. More and more I hear stories like that about this store cause I live in this neighberhood and we're all sure that it's just a matter of time. Too much competition around there and only the good ones will survive.
