good clothes. comfy and cute. crazy ass prices; too much. nice people but dirty store. loves the dresses and jewellry but its crazy over priced no offense.

True Value Vintage is a great place to go if you want to be in an atmosphere where the staff know what they are talking about, are very relaxed and are just plain fun! I find I always have an 'experience' when I go there, which is everytime I'm downtown. That experience can be good or bad, it just depends on how much you really like vintage and are willing to put in the time to search for what you are looking for...or not looking for. I love how the staff don't bagger you but when you do need help theres always someone handy. And I can always count on seeing/meeting interesting people. For me I go to True Value Vintage not just for the clothes (which are great and unique), but for the experience. Just check it out!! Make your own desicion.

Every thing was not that welly organized, not a lot of people were there to help.But overall it had a lot of neat items so that part made it worthiful.

great selections, perfect for vintage lovers i have never been so overwhelmed with clothing. amazing selection on shoes, cowboy boots and a fabulous variety of dresses. though some of the new items were pricey, a lot of the clothing was definitley worth it.

this vintage store has sooo much stuff...kinda overwhelming at first. Cool one of a kind pieces and I loveddd the vintage sunglass collection...I couldnt resist getting a pair! Didnt end up getting any clothing but prices were average...got a really funky beaded belt though! Staff was very nice even when having to convert US $...would definatley go back! Stop in if you get the chance...ITS A GOOD FIND!!!!

Hey vintage hunters and associates, I think TVV is a great place, a great experienc, they do have a lot of really kitschy stuff, the selection is pretty great, the definitly will have an array of pieces you wont find anywhere else. However their prices are over the top, yes ok some of the things are worth the value for example that worn in vintage heavy metal concert T from the 80s. Or that Shimmering disc Pucci dress from the 60s. But when you browse over and find another t shirt or dress, that is much less kitschy and culturally valuble, for $2 less, it doenst mame one really want to spend the money for it. I guess what I'm saying is, they seem to think just because someting is old, automatically makes it really valuble, that is not the case, visit soem of the shops in the states and compare to other shops you'll see.

Extremely over priced! There are many more vintage shops in Vancouver that offer much better value and service. Though there is a lot to look at.

Ahhh love true value...my friend alexander oliver introduced me...and as a stupid brand name west van rich kid i hadnt really vintage shooppped before but OMG soo hot. go. great prices...loves it

Value Vintage was definitely an experience. The atmosphere wasn't that great, it had the air of the Salvation Army. However, the clothes were very unique and stylish. I guess the value of the clothes depends on your style. If you're really into vintage clothing, this is a great place to shop. If you're more about the brand names, you might want to skip it. This is a great place to find clothes that no one else has. Some of the clothes are stained and dirty, which, I admit, is a bit revolting. But, overall the clothes are in decent shape and have a very "natural" worn-down look. I suggest, if you're in the area, give it a look. You never know, you might find something that you like! But, I don't think it's worth it to go out of your way to go there. But definitely give it a shot at one time or another!
