Vancouver Pen Shop
Description
This downtown store is for those neo-Luddites who prefer their writing surfaces tactile rather than electronic, and their writing instruments in a single point rather than full of clacking keys. Even if you don't fit into that category, these pens make good gifts. The large shop carries an extensive selection of major international pen lines like Carand'Ache, Cross, Parker, Montblanc and many others. It also has desk and calligraphy sets, ink, refills, cartridges, paper and other writing accessories. Prices range from moderate to surprisingly expensive.
The service was awsome! The staff took time to show me all the pens that were in my criteria. I would recomend this store to anyone that is tooking for a nice gift.
I had to do all my ordering and engraving ny phone for my future husband's wedding gift. The staff were fabulous to work with! Even when I had to talk to someone else who I hadn't been dealing with- they communicated so well with eachother, everyone knew what I was talking about! :)
I've had some hit-and-miss with the service, but overall my store experiences have been good. The selection is as good as one could expect for the Vancouver market and they have a great selection of inks. The staff is also legitimately knowledgeable and able to do small repairs. I really appreciate the parts they keep on hand so pens don't have to get sent away when it's time to refresh worn out parts.
Could hardly believe we have a pen store in Vancouver, much less something with so much selection! It's more than just pens and stationary, it's a whole experience.
Old world service with good advice on writing instruments. Knows which inks work best with which pens. Best selection of quality pens. Good service. Downtown location not greatest, but not hard to get to.
Whether selling a Mont Blanc or inexpensive ball point refill the staff are always courteous, helpful and informative. Downtown location but parking not to difficult
