Theatre Under The Stars
Description
Stanley Park's Malkin Bowl has been home to Theatre Under The Stars for nearly six decades. Large-scale Broadway productions like The King and I and Oklahoma marked its first years. It closed down in 1963 due to inclement weather but re-opened its doors in 1969 with help from volunteers, businessmen and a local amateur theater group. It holds two major productions every summer with a cast and crew of non-professionals and volunteers. Check website for further details.
