the owner chased after customers who did not want to leave a tip. Very uncivilized. Leaving tips should be left to the customer's discretion, not a mandatory procedure.

I love the dumplings and noodle dishes; this is a very busy place and there is often a line up as a result. The prices have increased since our first visit four years ago but again it is now very popular. They do take credit or debit card now; there is a restaurant called 'Legendary Noodle' on Main St. with comparably great food and much better service and prices. Shaolin is still one of our favourites -- tip: order the steamed dumplings, and vegetable/noodle soup -- but add the red vinegar and soy sauce to both.

The food is great, the noodles- fabulous....and try the treasure teas. This is comfort food at it's finest. My friend and I got there 5 minutes before closing one night and they still served us and treated us exceptionally well.

Love this place! The noodle soup is amazing as is the eggplant, dumplings (steamed), garlic broccoli. This restaurant takes Bejiing home meals and makes them extraordinary. They do have interact and credit card payment now.

Quick service and good, inexpensive food. What more could you want in a noodle house? I have tried more than 20 of the 100+ items on the menu and have never been disappointed.

Their food is superb and I love the texture of the noodles. There is great variety as well and I have recommended this place to many friends. It could be a better experience if they weren't soooo busy all the time. You have to either get there at the beginning or end of the lunch/dinner rushes to not have to wait for a long time. Most of the time, I order to go or for pick up. I also don't like that they are limited in the forms of payment they take, especially when they don't accept my type of credit card!
