Incendio, Vancouver

Don't order take-out delivery...Terrible! And the service inside is terrible. But I have to say it's casual and we like the environment and don't mind the noise and cosey-ness. Their pizza's are good Their salads are a bit wilty. Pasta...the sauces are fair. Pizza and wine....SAFE !

The last two times my wife and I have been to Incendios (Burrard) the service has been really terrible. Last night we watched two different waiters mess up orders, forget requests and constantly apologize for it being "too busy" not apologizing for providing bad service. A couple next to us were shaking there heads with a stack of plates, no water and no one coming by to to anything. They had to walk around to chase down the waiter for the bill then when they were leaving told us "good luck". I have lived in Vancouver BC for 9 years and first patronized the Incendios in Gas town. Sadly we will not go to Incendios anymore.

The place although had a very nice atmosphere but the service was slow and the server was very avoidant and the value was bad. We waited for a very long time for our food. And the server never came to refill our water. She never asked us if we needed anything. She was also relunctant to take our order. The value of the food was bad. The food was over priced and we weren't even full. They raised the price of the food and the amount of food got even lesser than before. I was unsatisfied about the service.

I've been to both the one in Gastown and the one on Burrard (the one in Gastown has a nicer, more relaxed atmosphere I think). Pizzas are great, pastas are great, service is - well, sometimes good sometimes so-so. For what you get the prices are reasonable. A great place for a relaxed meal.
