they gave us two menus with prices being lower on one and higher on the other. Why should we have to pay the higher price for their mistake? the managers answer was "sorry man, new prices" and walked away. It's all about principal! Good job bridges! 2 thumbs up for bad service!

We were there with our family of 5, including 3 kids looking for a slow and relaxing afternoon. NOTHING of the sort. Bad service, gross and abusive waiting staff and manager. Were not allowed more than 1 adult drink without ordering MORE food (pizza was not enough) and left not having ever been more insulted in our lives. The Tables all around us were completely appalled at the service, it was a real gong show. We will be writing the papers and will absolutely never step foot on their ABUSIVE AND RUDE premises again. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

I have now taken people to this establishment twice in a month. I have walked out BOTH times. The dining room experience was appalling. The ' snippy ' wine waiter had no idea how to accommodate an unusual customer request. As for the 2nd time I left after 45 minutes. No meal in sight and an apologetic waitress indicated that ' the other side ' (not the bar) got busy. The ' Manager' for the eveing did NOT seem at all concerned about my complaint (Sat 27 Oct 2007) I am in the hospitality business in vancouver and will no longer recommend this establishment to visiting clients. I was shocked at how limited the lunch menu was. Bridges offers almost nothing remotely flavourful or healthy. Most meals are 66$ white bread. What garbage! When the only thing remotely nutritious is a chicken caesar, the restaurant has put itself in competition with Wendy's, but at four times the price. This menu might have been innovative for a suburban pub in the 80's, but it's sorely absent of anything for the modern appetite. Nice view. Cruddy chairs. Dissinterested servers. I won't go back.

we are from italy,we like the climate in vancouver and the brunch sunday,it is a pleasent morning we had thank for the hollandise it is the best we had so for thank you,

My family sat outside on the deck, and because it was a bit chilly outside next to the water so they turned on over head space heaters for us, which worked fantastic. Food was a bit fancy, but i payed attention to the taste more than the presentation they layed out on the plate for me. It was only a ceazar salad. My parents enjoyed the fish and reccomend it for those with higher class taste. We watched dinner cruses and discussed maby going on one, but never actually did. They seemed like a couples type thing, not a family oriented sit down together dinner.

Nice location, but overpriced for the quality of food and service. Wine vintage mentioned in menu was NOT available - waitstaff did not know this until we brought it to their attention. No alternative given. Salmon listed as "grilled" on menu - came "seared" (raw on inside crispy on outside). Will not return to this restaurant.
