Morrissey Irish Bar & Restaurant, Vancouver

The Morrissey is my favourite bar in town. Good atmosphere and great music - especially on Saturday nights. Have only eaten there a few times but the food is good - upscale pub munchies. The only drawback is the service. Ordering from the bar is fine, but I've gotten some bad attitude from the servers many times. I understand what it's like to work in a bar and to have to put up with drunk meatheads, but my girlfriends and I are pretty decent people in the pub, even after many pints. There is nothing worse than going to your favourite place, listening to the best music playing in town, spending $100 and having the server treat you and your mates like garbage. I don't exactly expect 5 star service, but a little politeness would be pleasant. I guess I like the abuse as I keep going back. It's still the best place in town, in my opinion. Cool crowd and good music are the winning draws here.

Possibly one of the best burgers i've ever had. You could tell it was "homemade" not one of those pre-pressed cardboard burgers. Spiced well, cooked to perfection.
