Millwoods Golf Course, Edmonton

When we entered the pro-shop, one of the kids working there was sitting on the sofa watching tv. After we checked in, we got our cart and went to put our things in it but had to clean the garbage out from the previous users first. Obviously the kids couldn't be bothered. We had played the weekend before and it was the same situation. The couple we were going to play with had not arrived so my husband went onto the practice green to putt balls, I decided to stay in the pro-shop and look around. The kid that was watching tv when we arrived was standing behind the counter with the other one. After a few minutes, I stood and started watching tv and then the kid that was watching the tv earlier came out from the counter and turned the tv off and the 2 of them started snickering about it. I left. The course was in terrrible shape - garbage laying around and goose droppings were all over the fairways and greens that had water next to them. It made it disgusting to walk or even pick up your ball. The girl driving the refreshment cart must have been told just to drive it around - not to stop for anyone. She drove by us 5 times while we were playing and each time we signaled for her to come over, she waved and kept on going. I phoned to complain about all of this and was told well they were - which they were not - and they will try to do better. We won't be back that is for sure - they just want your money - no service.
