Bul Go Gi House, Edmonton

I personally love this place and have been going for years. The service is amazing and the food very tasty even by genuine korean standards. I love it and highly recommend Bul Go Gi House if you are in and around the Edmonton area!! :)

I loved the spicy sitr fry dishes because they were tasty and not greasy or heavy. My favorite is the spicy chicken and vegetables. They also have clear noodles and vegetables with black mushrooms that is really different and very flavorful.

I've been a customer of the Bul Go Gi House for years now and I admit my first exposure to the building wasn't that great, it's not the newest of buildings and the actual dining room is a bit run down - BUT - the staff has always been very fast, friendly and provided excellent customer service and the food is very, very good and the prices are outstanding compared to other restaurants in Edmonton. I strongly recommend the Bul Go Gi House.

This restaurant serves the best Korean food I’ve ever had in Canada, even in Korea. Their overall food is tasty and not too spicy or hot at all. Gal-bi is very soft and the sauce adds up the appetite. Also, the server is very kind and always checks our needs. I will absolutely visit there often!

We have been dining at the Bul Go Gi House for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently wonderful and although there is nothing glamorous about the decor, the homey nature of the environment and superb taste of the cuisine in addition to reasonable prices makes this in my estimation the best dining deal in Edmonton.

This used to be a great Korean restaurant in Edmonton, but the new management raised the prices and reduced the quality. It's not very authentic-tasting anymore. Kimchee is mediocre at best and everything is too expensive. Add to that the crumby ambiance and Bul Go Gi has deteriorated into a cheap Korean take-out place masquerading as a sit-down restaurant. If you want real Korean food, go to B Bim Baab instead. You know they're good because most of the clientele is Korean. Reasonable prices, delicious and authentic Korean food, on par with what you'd find in larger Korean communities in Vancouver or LA.

i am a convert to this place. my husband grew up eating here and has always loved and it too fell in love when i was introduced. friendly people REAL food! i love it!!!! i look foward to eating everytime i am around!

Each year a group of friends get together in late september/early october for the communal birthday dinner. We go to the Bul-go-gi House in Edmonton, AB, because the food is awesome, the price terrific and they have endless rice, bean salad and kim chi. The ambiance is less than perfect but it adds to the atmosphere. it is clean, quaint and worth the trip.

I have been going to the Bul Go Gi for 30 years now and it never fails to please me. I now live in Vancouver and when I visit Edmonton the first place I hit is here!

I like to eat healthy which can be difficult when going out for dinner. Bul-Go-Gi House has a wide variety of stir-fry dishes with fresh vegetables that taste great. The portions are big, so be sure to go when you are HUNGRY!!
