Not worth the visit

I am surprised to see this restaurant with a rating so high as it is not deserved.
It is a cute little place on the west side but the greek muriel on the wall does nothing to save the food or improve service. Syrtakis was not busy with only 2 tables occupied and we were greeted after a short wait.
We looked through the numerous pages of the makeshift menu and decided the best way to taste Syrtaki's would be to order their signature platter for $54. It included the greek salad and greek meatballs for an appetizer and had an assortment of greek meats and vegetable as the main course. The salad came out right away and was mostly cucumber and tomato which is not a bad thing but I must complain because it was lacking severely. The salad had only a light sprinkling of what I suppose would be a processed feta (I asked as it didn't resemble feta and the server said it was an imported blend) and a single olive, a heavy dose of oil and lack of seasoning but it still managed to be okay. When I order a greek salad at a greek restaurant I expect just that and being obviously cheap in the ingredient department is not the way to win over this food lovers heart. Our platter arrived quickly and was a mish mash of microwaved and reheated items. We were very disappointed and brought it to our servers attention but she had no resolution or answers beyond "i don't know". We got our platter to go and quietly tossed it into the trash before driving away.
