Hoa An Restaurant
Hoa An is located near the busy Lucky 97 Chinese grocery store in the busiest part of Chinatown. Noodle soups are the specialty here, and a large bowl of one of the many varieties makes a filling meal, or a great starter for two to four people. There is a wide selection of rice dishes as well as beef, pork, and seafood choices. The decor is simple, with the token tropical fish tank near the front door, and tables nicely spaced throughout this bright and pleasant restaurant.
Service was absolutely rude - waitress threw menu and tea cups at our table. Wasn't pleased when we ordered 1 bowl of noodles to share. 2nd waitress yelled at us just for asking for a extra spoon to serve the noodle soup. We left after a bite of the green onion cakes. Server threatened us to pay entire bill. We threw down $7 and left - which was already too much. Was most rude & awful dining expereince ever! We paid to get yelled at??? Only go if u wish to pay for terrible, rude service.
I was recommended this place and I thought it was absolutely terrible. The food was good, but not good enough to have me wanting more. And I would have to say the customer service was absolutely terrible. I never walked out of a restaurant so disrespected and insulted. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
