Atlantic Trap & Gill Pub, Calgary

Being from the East Coast living in Calgary, I love this place. Very down home east coast hospitality, lots of music, great bands, and great people to spend it with. Very fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Lots of different east coast style bands with a variety of ages.I 've mingled with 19 yr olds and 78 yr olds all in the same evening.If you like good ole newfie music with lots of accordian check out the Dorymates.

I've lived in Calgary since 1996 and have always meant to go to this place, finally did in August 08, and we're going back tonight for Alexander Keith's bday. They have great east coast music, a lively atmosphere, and good mix of ages (take your adult kids, your parents, your grandparents). Will be back again and again!

I love the general ambiance of the Atlantic Trap & Gill. The crowd is diverse and everyone is friendly. The live music on the weekends is always top notch. It tends to be a mix of folk, rock, and traditional East Coast. I would absolutely recommend the Trap & Gill to anyone who is tired of going to the standard bars. While the Trap and Gill does get very full, it never seems obtrusively crowded. The service is quick and always friendly. They have a amazing range of beer both on tap and bottle/cans. While the price per/pint isn't exactly low, it's well worth the cost when you balance out the great time and fun stories you will have.

Great place. It's a party everytime. This is the place to be in Calgary. FAIR HAVEN rocks!!!!! Make sure you go when they are playing. Amazing!!!. There are lots of other great bands too.

this place is braw we were over on holiday from Scotland and stumbled upon this we gem of a place fantastic staff and locals were brilliant we are still talking about it yet food was fantastic cheers everyone

Everytime I go myself and everyone with me has such a great time. I have quite a few Newfie friends and they introduced me to the place, I always enjoy the music and atmosphere. The prices are descent and it�s in a good location.

What a great atmosphere! I had a great time last night - and best of all, no cover charge (on a Saturday night!). Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. Lots of Maritimers of all different ages - I need not feel homesick for Nova Scotia!

The Trap is a great place to party. The staff are super friendly and the music is great, especially the band the SMOKIN CLOVERS, they have a mix of Maritime tunes and cover tunes. The best part is that it is a mixed age crowd, so everyone can go and have fun regardless of age.(OVER18)! I LOVES IT!!!!!

This little Diamond in the Rough has the friendliest people in Calgary! Feels like home! Make the worthy trip to the Trap to check out Fraid Knot...they are amazing and the staff are great!
