Description

Enjoy a game of pool or take in some television sports in a smoke-free environment at the Melrose Cafe and Bar. They have an extensive menu that includes California cuisine, pizza, daily pasta dishes and salads. The decor is contemporary and spacious, with ample number of private booths and tables. There are 10 satellite televisions and you can enjoy watching your favorite video on their "video wall." For a bit of tranquility, you can simply take advantage of their outdoor patio and watch the beautiful artificial waterfall they have recently installed.

Melrose is Absolutely the BEST!!!

Melrose is the place to see & be seen! The food is Amazing & the portions are HUGE! YUMMY!!! We always get great friendly service. The bar & patio is the PERFECT spot to people watch on 17th. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an excellent experience :)

Had a Great Time

We loved the atmosphere in the bar and downstairs atrium. It was a Saturday night and there was an Alexander Keith's event; really fun. Perfect for beers with friends.

The place to be.

If you're a first time visitor to Calgary and want to see the nightlife, you have to check out Melrose. The vibrant place is a good venue to hang out in. ;)

THE only place to be and be seen.

The atmosphere and crowd is amazing. Whether you are there for a quick drink or a large party they are always accomodatng and filled with value. From sports games on the big screen, or a casual game of pool keepin an eye out for calgary's most attractive,..melrose is by far the place to be. GREAT VENUE!

Melrose rocks!

This is THE place to hang out in Calgary on a summer night - the bar/lounge is always packed and loads of fun, and the outdoor patio (on the restaurant side) is one of the best "people watching" vantage points in the city, right on 17th ave. The food is always good and the martinis are delicious! For an $8.00 Martini they give you the shaker with a glass and it fills it up about three times - excellent value!

Super friendly

Melrose is a great place for friends to gather or to meet new people. Friendly staff easy going atmosphere without the idiots looking for a fight or a rough end to the night. Safe and fun.
