Taj Mahal, Calgary

I have gone to Taj Mahal restaurant on Mondays nights and the food is authentic and flavored, it’s nice to have people around. I have notice they toned down on the spices on food but it’s totally understandable because kids can’t take much spicy food but I liked that they have added spicy condiments ti make up for it. Chai tea is always the best here I recommend you to try it.

I came here with all my family the place is just amazing I mean they even had the Indian setting, how cool is that? My family and I enjoyed that evening very much my nephews couldn’t stay away from the marble statue; you have to see that is great. I liked very much the vegetarian samosa and the aloo ghobhi, on top everything is great value!

Taj Majal is a very well- reputed Indian restaurant in Calgary. What strikes you most once you are there is the total homely atmosphere and ambiance. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. This food is simply a feast for a Indian food lover. They have a whole range of dishes to choose from and few exotic ones that I did not see anywhere else. It’s delicious and I can totally vouch for that because our four year old daughter finished her meal, herself for the first time. According to me it’s a must visit in Calgary. Service is awesome; they give personal attention to each guest!

I have been going there it seems for 15 - 20 years periodically. True blue service, lots of ice water with lemon in it. Great variety- ie.: vegetarian and meat samosas. There are many other things in the buffet. Buffet seems to be Mon. to Friday lunch, and Monday supper.

This is the best Indian food I have had since being in India visiting family! It is not just the food, the atmosphere and tradition is very apparent when dining there. They have really captured the essence of Indian food and what an Indian restaurant should be! Thank you!

This is a fantastic restaurant! They really cater to the needs of their patrons. I will continue to come here because they also have the best Indian food around!!!!
