What couldnt go wrong

Walked into a totally disorganized restaurant. Hostess didnt seat us just pointed into the lounge and said "Take a seat". Sat down and was served resonably fast, but our entrees arrived about 2 minutes BEFORE our appetizers, our entrees werent cooked as we had orded them at all. We had waited about 45 min for even that to happen. The table next to us ordered after we did, got thier food, and were almost done eating by the time our stuff started arriving. We told our server our steaks werent cooked correctly, and she agreed, and took our food back to the kitchen for us. We figured it wouldnt be all that long considering we had already waited 45 min to get it in the first place. Apparently, I was wrong. Waited ANOTHER 30 minutes after they were brought out again, my steak was ordered medium and came out cold in the center and looked more like chicago-style ( burnt on the outside, blue rare in the center). We informed our server again, she immediately apologized profusely for our wait, and the food and asked if she could either get us something else, or ask the kitchen to redo our order for us. We told her we would just eat it, as we were very hungry by that point. We watched our server talk to a manager both times and he still NEVER approached our table, merely walking briskly by to personally seat what seemed to be some drinking buddies. I dont really think I should have to ask to talk to a manager when there were obvious problems with our food at a restaurant like this one is supposed to be, well should be considering the prices! He should have came over at the first sign of a problem, and maybe brought our food to us. Not sitting at some table being chatty and schmoozing them while we were watching him drink wine, and eat dinner. We ate, left and nothing had been taken off of our bill, even though from the time of ordering our food it took about an hour and 15 minutes for our food to come out for the second time! Appreciate your guests! We wont be returning.
