This popular Chinese restaurant is consistently voted as one of the city's best, especially for its namesake dish. The staff is friendly and the decor rather simple, consisting mainly of Chinese calligraphy and the requisite goldfish tank. At lunch the place is jammed with diners enjoying the tempting buffet (CAD6.95). A huge mound of ginger beef costs CAD8.25 while other entrees, such as kung-ko shrimp, cost an average of CAD9. The restaurant is fully licensed; offers take-out and delivery service and is a fine place for a no-nonsense Chinese feed.
