Molly Malone's Irish Pub, Calgary

A friend and I went there during our lunch break, our order was taken. Only 6 other people on the deck. No food was brought up to any of us. Our waitress was kind enough to bring us our bill, having never brought us our food or drink though. We left after 50 minutes and picked up lunch at Pepino's which was fantastic!

People were friendly and a good selection of beer on tap and bottled. Cozy atmospere but get's really busy on weekend evenings. Awesome roof-top patio in the summer!

My friends and I went to this place on St Paddy's day for drinks, and not only was it impossible to get table service, but when i actually got up, went to the bar to get drinks and paid for them, the bartenders would purposely not offer me my change back. Having worked in a restaurant for close to ten years, I feel I have the authority to say that not only is this extremely unprofessional, but in my mind tantamount to extortion. To be clear here,I was buying about 13 dollars worth of drinks each time, paying with a twenty, and being offered no change.

Roof teras is nice to sit and drink something. But man the washrooms really should be cleaned more the once a year! Service was ok. waitress was not really interested in us.

I have been there more than once, and that is the end of it. There was no live music at any time, including friday and saturday nights. Part of the special ambience of a pub is the music. The food is ok as in fair and edible, but the lack of ambience kinda kills the flavor. I would give the ambience rating a 'zero bar' ranking if they allowed it. There are other pubs nearby that are actually IRISH. This pub is as Irish as Mr Chau's. The drinks were standard and were made efficiently, no waiting. I may go again if they added some REAL MUSIC. Until then, There are some nearby places that will quench my thirst after work, and provide entertainment.

Mollys used to be an awsome traditional Irish pub,someone put in a lot of work and money to see to it, but now, NOT AT ALL! its as much Irish as the Tandori Hut. Fortunatly some signature appies are the same(yeah they copied the menu!,but now, No irish music, No weekend LIVE Music(one man band is all was needed),Rock and Pop should go to the pub down the street, save some money for some upkeep. And if you need more money charge more, dont stop taking debt and put a $2.00 bank machine! I paid $10 cover for patties day for no live music No specials,too top it off Mollies is NO BIG DEAL! bheith m

I have never had a worst experience with the staff of an establishment in my life. I will never go back and suggest that other people stay clear.

For something casual in Kensington this place is the spot. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great value for money.

The upstairs patio is huge and we had a lot of fun. The Food was really good for "pub food" , pizzas are a great deal and yummy!Service was great!

we had a birthday party and were treated as if we owned the place. The service was fantastic and Parker (bartender) had us laughing all night long.
