WENT UP WITH MY 29 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ON A "GIRLS THREE DAY GET-AWAY" AT THE BANFF SPRINGS.
WE BOUGHT THE PHOTO OF US IN THE GONDOLS AT THE END OF THE RIDE AND I HAVE THAT TO BRING BACK ALL THE GOOD MEMORIES WHEN I LOOK AT IT.
I went to Banff 2 years ago when I was 12. The Gondola is probably the most memerable experience of the trip. You get an amazing view of the park and you can easily rock the car from side to side to annoy your parents and make the slow ride more exciting. Slow, but NOT boring.
We went for our honeymoon in November, 2005. We loved it because it is considered off season and nobody was there. We had the place to ourselves and it was beautiful there. The layers of fresh snow and views of snow capped mountains were truly gorgeous!! The only thing we were disappointed about was there were no animals. We saw tons of animal tracks but no live animals. They must have been hibernating. It was amazing there...We can't wait to go back!!
Is anyone know Banff Gondola is pet allowed? I am planning to go to Sulphur Mountain around June this year, but I am not sure is Gondola allowed dog on broad or is any other way I can go up to the mountain top?
When I went up there it was like beautiful scenery from a movie!! I loved it so much. The squirrels were so adorable and when we got to Sansons peak I was amazed!! But the photos were a little expensive. I loved it so much and the service was friendly!!!!
