Evelyn's Coffee Bar, Banff

With its prime location on Banff Avenue, this cafe is always jammed, with customers often spilling out onto the sidewalk to enjoy their coffee. While not the place for a quiet cup of java, the coffee here is excellent and the friendly staff can assemble a healthy lunch of soup and sandwiches in no time. Or, if you have a sweet tooth, there is a selection of freshly baked goods. If you can find a place to sit, this is an ideal people-watching real estate and it is great fun trying to guess the accents of tourists who file in and out.
