Aardvark Pizza and Sub, Banff

Whether you're staggering out of one of the local clubs at 2:00 a.m. or coming off a backpacking trip, Aardvark is fast hot munchies. The pizza is pretty standard, but definitely hits the spot when you're hungry; many other items on the menu are not up to par with what you'd get in a larger town. They seem to have this weird allergy to fresh vegetables, fr'instance.

If you're in the mood for a heart bypass, please try the poutine. It's pretty good - as long as you can handle a few palpitations.

The place (and the sidewalk outside) is a good place to meet droves of people when the bars clear out. Pretty much strictly take-out. Most staff seem a little grumpy - but can you blame them?
