Description

Enjoy nightly drink specials in a unique, non-smoking environment at Bumpers Beef House. The specialty is Alberta beef, but it also offers a large seafood and pasta selection; there is a large salad bar and great side dishes on the menu. The outside of Bumpers is reminiscent of an old style mountain chalet. The main floor houses the formal dining room and the lounge is located upstairs in the loft, overlooking the restaurant and Banff Avenue. The restaurant is available for tour bookings.

One of our favorites

Salad bar was great and the steak one of the best. It was so good our friends wanted us to go back so they could try the steak. Will be there next year and Bumpers will be one of our first stops.

Yikes, this was pricey for average food

We wanted a good steak and decided on Bumpers. Not the best choice. The salad bar was decent. The filet ($30) was below average at best. The potato was good but small. The prime rib was good but nothing to write home about. You have been to Banff if you haven't been here. I will not go there again.

Beef is best at Bumpers

Went to Bumpers on a recent trip to Banff and was delited.The prime rib is the best i've ever tasted.We went with a party of 15 and we were accomadated in a packed house,with just a short wait in the upstairs lounge.We will be back next year for the best meal we had while in Banff.

Decent Place

I liked this restaurant because of the food itself. The Prime Rib dinner and salad bar was great, but atmosphere was too crammed as in seating and location of everything is awkward. Service was great.

Let down with a BUMP

The service was okay, the food was overpriced and poor quality. One of the more disappointing eateries in Banff, give this one a miss. The free salad bar was better than the ordered meals. (The waitress commented on the amount of food we had left and told us the chef was new)
