Max Brenner (Chocolate by the Bald Man)
This is a delight for all chocolate lovers with a myriad of homemade chocolates on offer. Choose from mouth-watering rum truffles to specially blended cocoa powder (choose from five different types of cocoa bean), and specially engraved silver rings inside a box of selected chocolates. The window is a sight in itself - different objects cast in chocolate are surrounded by a variety of cocoa beans.

The service was the worst of the three days I spent in NYC. Not only had to ask for more coffee after finally getting the attention of the waitress, but had to move the dishes aside so I could sign my check.
Surely your help is told to clear the patrons table, and coffee in the morning should not have to be begged for. The food was so so. Check no 7377 Dec. 18th

My husband and I first experienced Max Brenner's chocolate at their shop in Harrod's in London. It was the best chocolate I've ever tasted, and I've been trying to find a close second ever since. I wish they would have online ordering available. Sigh. I highly recommend it.
I hadnt heard about the Max Brenner chocolate until i went to Manly Island in Australia where they had a Chocolate by the Bald man shop, and i have never seen anythin like it, as a chocoholic i was in heaven! if u go then u have to try the hot chocolates where u add your own amount of chocolate so it melts to your own taste! ill never forget it, bring on hte day they bring the shop to birmingham!
