Sakura
Description
Tucked away at the end of an alley of restaurants, Sakura feels authentically Japanese and is popular with Japanese business visitors. This inn, which is furnished in pale wood, has a minimalistic, clean and intimate feel. There are red lanterns outside and decorative sake barrels and Japanese prints inside. At the counter there are immaculate chunks of salmon, shrimp, tuna, eel and other raw fish on display. The menu also includes Japanese favourites such as soba, tempura, tonkatsu and yakitori. Business lunches, which include miso soup, Japanese soup, green tea and an assortment of main courses, range from NIS 45-66 (only available Su-Th).
Really good and authentic Japanese food in Jerusalem.
We've been 4 diners so we could taste many diffrent dishes, which were all tasty.
I believe they have the best sushi in Jerusalem.
Recommended!
Everyone in Jerusalem knows that Sakura is the best Sushi around. If you see a chubby slightly darker asian chef behind the counter, you're in luck, he is their best sushi chef and his sushi is world class.
