This long established and popular restaurant is favoured by Israelis and tourists alike for its consistent high standards, cheerful ambience and most of all, for the giant Focaccias. Baked in the outdoor, stone oven, the piping hot half-metre Focaccias arrive at your request with a choice of Goats Cheese, Labane, Pesto Sauce, Olive Paste and more. Other dishes, such as Steaks and Hamburgers are accompanied with homemade Bread, and the giant Stir-Fried Salads are perfect for sharing. The desserts are to be relished - try the warm Belgian Chocolate Cake with melting Ice Cream, or mouth-watering Chocolate Souffle (or both!). An average meal here costs NIS 72.

One of the things I will remember about Jerusalem!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/09
This was the best restaurant that I went to while in Jerusalem. The service could've been better, but the food was very satisfying. On my first visit I had the best fettucini alfredo ever! The shrimp, mussels and scallops in the pasta may have been pulled right out of the sea! I was pleased on my second visit with a mouthwatering steak. Good size and very juicy! And I must recommend trying some of the Israeli wine!

For those who keep diet
By AskA, 04/18/07
I prefer to stay fit and have some special requirements to food - in the afternoon it should include salads mostly with lettuce leaves and olive oil and a juicy roastbeef. All this is possible in Focaccia. Though I'd recommend to those believe in healthy lifesyle to choose a non-smoking part of the restaurant since on the outside terrace it's almost impossible to feel any taste of the food due to huge smoke miasma.

Great focaccia
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/07
I lived in Jerusaelm for a year. this was my favorite restaurant. the outside tables are great, inside is a bit less cosy though. The restaurant has earnd the name "focaccia"! I especially love the focaccia with dried tomato and goat cheese, the warm chicken-salad, the fetacheese-salad, the lemonade and the hot chocolate-cake with ice cream!! If you are going to Jerusalem, and you want to make sure that you'll pick a restaurant with good and varied food, this is the place to go!

not at all sorry i went here
By Aviad, 11/17/05
I went to eat here on account of other reviews i read on the site, and i really liked it. They have burgers, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches. An example for an entree is deep fried calamari. I had a chicken sandwitch with fries and a pink lemonade, and it's good food, not junk. I paid 50 shequel which is more or less 10 euro. for an american or a european resident this is not expensive at all, for an israeli it's a tad pricy but worth it. the atmosphere was nice, a few couples, a few families. not noisy, they had some norah jones music when i was there but i saw some of their other cds which were pretty much in the same style: light jazz, warm voiced musicians, comfortable. a clean restaurant with cute smily student waitresses, and good service. have fun!!

nonodi
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/05
I love the restaurant. I think it is the best restaurant for me all over the world!!! Last year I visited the restaurant with my friends, then she also said "taim meod!!!." When I will back to Jerusalem, definitely I will go to the restaurant to eat delicious spaghetti and to drink wine from the Golan!

Cool Atmosphere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/04
I wouldn't come here for a gourmet meal but for a great hot roastbeef sandwich with fries and fresh pink lemonade. Atmosphere is very street-cafe cool, see and be seen.
