Fire & Ice
FiRE+iCE opened one of its largest locations in 1999 in the Providence Place Mall. The restaurant, which seats up to 326 can easily accommodate large groups for any party or function. Parking in the mall garage is easily accessible by taking exit 22C off of 95 (both North and South) and very affordable. Monday nights are College Night, where with a valid college ID, dinner is only $9.95
i went there with my friend and it was sooooo cool. the place is neat. the food is amazing. the guy at the grill is so good. when i went i made a cheesburger with bacon and mushrooms sooo good i recommend it to any one
Last night i visited your providence branch. Now i must say the atmosphere was pretty good, but the food and service were terrible. None of it was fresh and all the fish and meats seemed to be of the lowest quality, and for nearly 20 dollars you would expected to be halfway decent, I mean i could have done better at a cheap Chinese buffet. Then things only got worse when i went to the grill, the chief over cooked my hamburger and everything else, after i asked repeatably for it to be cooked medium. It came out over done and burnt. The bottom line is if you want a low quality buffet go to a Chinese restaurant.
Food Q: Bad Food? Are you kidding me? You must be like 70 years old expecting a gross spread like Old Country Buffet or something like that.
The food is great. The atmosphere is great. Fun to watch and I've been a lot of times, that they invite me to cook myself.
I suggest Andouville (spelling) Sausage, with chicken, pineapple, bean sprouts, egg noodle, and teriyaki sauce, omg.
(usually what i get)
A good place to eat at if you just want to fill up on bad food. The beef smelled bad and you have to serve yourself! But they bring you chips and salsa so you feel pressured to tip them. Good ideal, but the food is bad. This is not a place to bring your first date on.
We did this restaurant for my birthday and it was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly waitstaff, and fun atmosphere. The food was plentiful and good, and quite a large variety to choose from. My husband (aka Mr. Picky) went back for 2 plates full....I couldn't eat that much and only did the single serving. They have 2 options, single visit or UNLIMITED visits, and let me tell you the amount of food some of the big, football player types mountained on their plates must have left the place losing money by the time they left! Lots of choices, combinations, and seasonings and sauces that make you want to try them all (if only you had room in your stomach and didn't have to worry about calories!) We highly recommend.
I took my husband to fire & ice because we have heard so much about this resturant. we tried it and this is one of the best places in Rhode Island and we have lived here for 16yrs, but this place has everything you can want or eat. i recommend fire & ice to anyone!
The atmosphere was totally like a club, and a lot of people were definitely wearing club gear. The food was great...how can it not be, since you pick the ingredients! This Mongolian Barbeque was great fun, plus as a vegetarian they cook the food in the back and deliver it special to your seat! Not the best mongolian barbeque I have been to, but it was a lot of fun.
Visited Providence, RI for a day and this was the highlight. You select your food and take it to the grill in the middle of the restaurant and tell the chef how you would like it cooked. It is an all you can eat with a great selection food with everything from omlettes to salads to meats.
