A fine seafood restaurant with fresh fish every day from Billingsgate Market. With the interior done up to look like the inside of a ship and kitchens called the, 'galleys', you're sure of a real seafarer's experience here. Excellent cooking

Very tasty food, good portions, wine and service. Main dishes around Â£15. Best to book and ask for table near window as many are in a rather dark area. Public car park just behind, on your left as you come into St. Clements after crossing Magdalen Bridge.

Lovely

A really nice little place. Great menu, great wine, great service. Go there all the time and have never been dissapionted. Could say its my fave restarant ever. Seabass is always amazing, the best chips in England. Not to mention the shellfish platter (you will enjoy making a mess)

The sea has come inland

I'd heard about Fishers. Freshly sourced fish, daily changing menus and all that. But being so far from the sea I just had to see it to believe it. I couldn't have enjoyed a more delicious meal if I had caught and cooked it myself. Of course they have their traditional choices, the ones that never change and they include a fine fisherman's portion of haddock and chips, mushy peas and all the trimmings to keep you going for a day or two. Then there's the daily changing bits. Great fresh water and sea fish presented in caringly thought out combinations and served with the chunkiest of 'fish and chip shop' chips. Whatever your fancy I'm sure this menu has just what takes it and plenty of fine tipples to choose from on the wine list too. If you have room, the chocolate fondue is a worthy gap filler too.
