Open early enough for a morning coffee and late enough for cocktails and wines, this restaurant has more than just food on offer. A bar in the middle of the room illustrates why, for many people, this is predominantly a drinking establishment. However, you should not miss out on the great pizzas here. There are also quite a few salads on offer and one or two other dishes, including a special. Wash it all down with a house wine for £8.50 or a cocktail for £4.
Came across this little gem last summer and we just keep going back. Some of the nicest waitresses and bar staff you'll meet - I couldnt help thinking our waitress had mistaken me for someone she knew on our first visit, then I realised the staff are just...very friendly! Good value food, best pizza in town and belgian waffles to die for!!
We'll be seeing you again tonight :)
The staff were great with our two kids - there's plenty on the menu for little ones. The music was good and the ambiance was uplifting. Pizzas were really good value at 6 each and we only splashed out of a nice bottle of Rioja which went down a treat.
The kids shared a waffles for dessert, served with ice cream and maple syrup. It was the highlight of the meal for them and my only regret was that I didn;t get one for myself too!
Parking is difficult around here so I would go on the bus or on foot is you don't live locally. Coco's is perfect for families or a top notch cocktail if you can leave the kids at home.
The food was quite nice here, I had a veggie option. We were disappointed by their complete refusal to allow any variation from the menu. Has more of a bar feel with the bar in the centre and everyone seated at tables around that and a sculpture of a man in a bath at the back. Service was quick and it was good value.
