Tower of London
900 years of history are embraced within the thick, turreted walls of the Tower of London. Founded in 1066, William the Conqueror built the majestic White Tower that still rises above the Thames. Tours given by the Yeoman Warders, or Beefeaters, shed light on the Tower's fascinating and often macabre history. Even though the violent years are long gone, an aura of death and medieval torture remains. The main attractions for most visitors are the breathtaking Crown Jewels. Also a tourist draw are the ravens; according to folklore, if they ever leave, Britain will fall prey to foreign invasion. For booking tickets, call +44 20 3166 6000 or +44 20 3166 6755
London was every thing I thought it too be a smile towne with lovely red phone booths and big red double decker buses. The bus tours was worth my money, I saw every thing possible.I like their cabs and the hard cafe restaurant. I like great britain. I will go back again.
THis was very expensive for what little I could see. There was a lot of renovations and repairs going on while I was there and a lot of the attractions were closed. Some of the guided tours did not start when they were scheduled to.
London Rocks.....Just to walk through London all day and hit all the little parks, the big attractions and then the pubs! Never a dull moment! And shopping on Kensington is amazing too...shopping period is outstanding!
Feel the history...wow, I just couldn't imagine the royalty that walked there before me...And to see the Royal Crown Jewels...wow...A must see, yes, a must see... And take the guided tour and hear the history.
This was wonderful, the plays were delightful and so informative and captured childrens attention. When they normally would by pulling on you to leave, they are begging to stay, who would have ever thought??? learning made fun.

Lots of information to lurn, a great place to spend the day at. It is one of Londons faviourate attractions that coinsides with my intrest. The only thing that i recomend is that it will be a difficult thing to take a stroller with you even though it is a big walk.
