This is our thursday night date night with the kids. We love this place. We have yet to have a waitress who did not meet all of our needs.
The food is so very good and is brought to our table in a timely mannor. We would suggest you give the Milford Diner a try. I am sure it will become one of your favorites also.
I, my wife and another couple ate in your restaurant this past Saturday night. I very rarely email or write, if ever, anyone regarding their business. We had not been in Milford for many years, I did not like the changes, too darn busy with traffic, and that's not a good thing. I have traveled all over the country and Europe and have never had such a great experience dinning as I did at Milford Diner.
The food was the best and the service by Nickos (the server) was outstanding. He made the night; I have never experienced such an enthusiastic and friendly person, in any profession, as he was.
We can honestly say, from start to finish, that this was the best meal we had in a long time. They preformed their jobs with skill and professionalism....bravo!!
However, the experience I had at your restaurant is probably worth the trip back to Milford. I just thought you should know.
The first time I tried your Shepperd's beef casserole , I was hooked. You guys need to open stores in Texas you will blow them other guys away. And since I have been in the restaurant business all my life I can run one of them for you. ha ha ha no all kidding aside you guys are the best!
Thanks for having this website. I can see others that have moved away feel my pain ;-)
Service is usually really good, prices are great, food is good diner food. Menu is pretty extensive for a small diner. But the place is smoky. Very smoky. Even the non-smoking section is really smoky which is why most locals go to Balch's or Perkin's or Joey's or anyplace else instead. Very poor ventilation. The whole counter is in the smoking section. The waitresses all smell of smoke. You even have to walk through the smoking section to get to the restrooms, which reak of smoke. If you go there for a meal and sit in the non-smoking section, by the time you leave your clothes will smell. I almost never go there anymore because it's so smoky. Such a shame, everything else about the place is really good.
Former President Clinton greets Milford crowd, Milford Diner
Former President Bill Clinton purchased books in a local bookstore, had lunch at the Milford Diner, and then spoke for over an hour from the porch of a Fourth Street Milford residence this afternoon
First place we went to when visiting Milford. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Ok service but it's a diner... that's what you expect. Treated us nice even though we were obviously strangers. Spacing was a little tight, though. Prices were good, too.
we're a working couple and tend to stop in on our way home for those late nights...its really nice to go to place where you feel at home, we're your welcomed with a smile and where you know the food is always good! With a combination like that who could go wrong. The prices are very reasonable and you get a very generous portion. Desserts vary if your not to full to indulge with a great cheesecake or if you can handle it, their homemade cherry & apple turnovers which are excellent warmed with ice cream! The owners are quite personable and add culinary character.
Whether its breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack...you can't go wrong!!
