English National Opera (ENO)
Description
The English National Opera (ENO) has its home at the beautiful Coliseum near Trafalgar Square. Luckily for those who only speak English, all the operas performed are in their native tongue. The setting and the prices also make the Coliseum more accessible than the Royal Opera House . There is definitely a contemporary approach to both the traditional and more modern operas here and if you're not too familiar with opera, an ENO production is a good place to start.
Sat 10th May 2008.
Pretty music, dazzling costumes and sets, poignant as well as comedy moments, first class acting and singing. Understudy Michelle Walton sang and looked like an angel.
Full enjoyable evening.
