Old Goat Tavern (The)
Built more than 300 years ago, The Old Goat Tavern has retained an olde worlde feel that is popular with the business crowd of Kensington. The tavern is a short walk from Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace, and is a good place to enjoy a pint in a real old-fashioned city pub. There is a separate full-service dining area at the rear, serving food that is a bit more upmarket than the average pub fare. Most main courses are traditional British dishes, although lasagnes, curries and chillies are also available.
Nice place but I was looking for steak and kidney pie which they didn't offer the day we were there. I ordered the available chicken pie which had 3 small pieces of chicken. If you are in the area I would stop in but I would not travel across town.

Hi, I spent part of xmas 2004 at this pub in London -- it was open and serving what they called "drinkies" and they all wore xmas santa caps and it was a lot of fun-- people from London asked me to join them for dinner (but I had other plans) and they could not have been more friendly-- try this place for drinkies-- they were not serving food that day but they are so much fun-- a regular team works the bar -- and the guy from Australia that is the bartender could not have been nicer -- he lives above the pub. Have some fun there :))
