Caraffini's marvellous cuisine evokes gasps and delighted cries of buenissimo and que rico from diners. Seriously, it is a superlative local with a faithful following from the smart set. Start with some antipasti and then move onto pasta and rice dishes. Fish and meat do take centre stage though - of particular note are the veal and salmon dishes.

A fortunate discovery

While stayiing on Sloane Square two years we happened on Caraffini by chance. What a delightful meal we had. The service was pleasant and efficient and you had the feeling the table was yours as long as you wanted it. We have been back twice and plan to go there again in January. The pasta and veal are recommended but I believe you wont go wrong with almost any choice. Not inexpensive, but worth it.
