West End Kitchen
Description
Just by Leicester Square, this cheap and cheerful restaurant is fantastic for diners who want a hearty meal but don't want to pay through the nose for it. Customers eat at small wooden booths and can chose from an à la carte menu, or enjoy a bargain three-course set meal for around £6. The menu changes daily but go for the Gammon Steak and Pineapple Main, finished with an Apple Crumble dessert. At these prices, the quality isn't amazing being rather reminiscent of a decent school dinner but it's filling and quick, making this a great pre-theatre venue for the budget conscious. The West End Kitchen is part of the Stockpot franchise - a cheap but good value kitchen chain.
