With the main attraction being The Mystery House, visitors are able to see water flow up hill as the gravitational pull is stronger than normal to the north. The Heritage Museum is now used to portray life of middle class mountain families in the late 1800's to early 1900's. In The Native American Artifacts Museum, over 50,000 pieces of authentic Native American artifacts are on display.
I cannot believe they actually charge you for this "attraction". It is an old building with dirty,dusty displays of puzzles you can find online or from an old book. Then the one room that attracts many unsuspecting tourists, is just that- a small room built on an incline! The museum next door was just as disappointing. The appaIachin history was a bunch of old toys with no decriptions and the indian artifacts were the largest collection of arrowheads ever assembled. I was NOT impressed and felt like I had been taken advantage of. Save your $28 for a family of four and spend it elsewhere!
