Brazil Cafe, London

This small cafe-bar offers a welcome splash of colour in an otherwise drab stretch of Fulham Road. The interior is made up of oranges and yellows and makes a good stab at catching the feel of warmer climes. Colourful, modern art and Brazilian prints are hung on the walls, along with plastic parrots and fake vines, which somehow add to the upbeat feel without looking at all tacky. Heart FM plays in the background. The food on offer has a vaguely Brazilian theme - the management are Italian so the pizzas, which are very popular, have a rather interesting Brazilian-Italian mix of toppings. You can choose from a selection of coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cakes. Service is quick and the staff are friendly.
