a haven in the busy streets of london
this place is wonderful. the food is authentic and excellent, the atmosphere is fun and, although not a place for those on a very low budget, it's worth every bit as a little splurge.
the tables in the basement are wonderful ONLY when they're all occupied. it's a bit less cozy when very few diners are downstairs.
it's now being run by the next generation as, sadly, mario passed away late in 2007. the boys are doing him proud.
i'll be back whenever i can be.
ps: the tiramisu is perfection.
