Tiki Tubing, Denham Springs

No place to change to swimsuits or use the restroom in private. Lots and lots of drinking. No control of guest at all. Tubes were moldy and had lots of mildew on them. Really gross. Creek was nothing but sticks and stumps. We had a popped tube in our group about two hours in. Then what do you do? Walk !! No adults were on the trip at all. It was awful. Getting on and off the tube to go around downed trees and stumps. Plenty of cut feet and hands. Not relaxing!!! Then a long walk at the end,,no one tells you about.

I dont understand how this place is open. Be aware: once you get the river, you are in your own. I got sick at the begining of the trip, and had to walk five hours to the final point, no matter how many time I called them, not body was there to help!

We were really excited about ending our summer out on the water, but this was a TERRIBLE way to spend a day. I honestly contemplated how hard it would be to get out of the water and walk back. The water barely moved. There was a group of teens (15 or so) ahead of us all day who drank and drank and threw up in the water in front of us to float through. There was a strange group of redneck floaters behind us drinking, smoking, and cursing, and listening to trash on their radio all day. It took HOURS for the float down river and I have NEVER been so ready for something to be over in my life. It is not family friendly. It is not fun, and I will never go back.

This place is way to expensive. I hadn't been on this river in years. The fancy tubes are stupid. The quality of the experience is horrible. I had been wanting to take my family tubing and I called another company on the bogue chitto. They told me they weren't running that day because the river was too low and it wouldn't be a good ride. Tiki said nothing and took my money (and everyone's). We drug ourselves nearly the whole way. When you have bruises on you *ss we call it a Tiki-too now This place needs to be shut down. It wasn't family friendly at all.

they need to control the drinking along the route not for kids,but when you plan a trip kids are included in the family fun. but this was not a family place. it is a place for people with no respect for others. its all about getting drunk and high.

Nothing about this place was enjoyable. Whomever wrote a review saying they enjoyed it or the service was good must work for the place.It is overpriced and the tubes given are barley inflated. Service was and is horrible.LAZY REDNECKS run this place.Do yourself a favor dig a hole and stick your head in it because that how fun tiki tubing is on this river.

all these ppl who are dissing tha tiki tubing thing are wack! you ppl are crazy.. i do understand tha woman with tha kids though.. definitely don't bring youkidds.. most ppl who go tiki tubin are goin ta get drunk and have a good time. it is definitely not expensive unless your just a cheap person.. tiki tubin is awesome! i got me a great tan and had tons of fun!

The trip was inexpensive and they have nice tubes compared to other places. The staff was really nice and there's police in the area if you need some assistance. Other than that the river was horrible. It was very dirty and way too many obstacles in the river. There wasn't many areas to just relax in the tube because your swimming to avoid the trees and limbs in the river. The beaches were covered with rocks and had a lot of trash. This river should be dredged and trash cans placed at each beach. There's no up keep so I wouldn't recommend Tiki Tubing to anyone. At the end you have a choice to pay someone to bring you and our ice chest to your vehicle for $1. Pay the money because you will have a very long walk in a rocky sand trail.
