Description

The Guinness Book of Records has accredited this shop as the largest single menswear store in the world, but from the small street entrance it's impossible to tell what lies inside. Suits, classics, designer and casual wear are all available off the peg, over three floors, with free alterations carried out before you leave the store. Large sizes in both footwear and clothing are fully provided for. Big names range from the traditional (Pringle, Lyle & Scott, Farah) to the designer (DKNY, Jasper Conran, YSL). With a celebrity clientèle, even Telly Savalas (Kojak) at one time, the staff are so attentive they'll make you feel like a star too.

Was unable to attend store due to an injury phonede spoke to Martin a manager who arranged for a member of staff to visit my home with a selection of goods.He calledv a few days later with the items which fiited perfectly.I was that impressed tha ti ordered more items which were posted out to me a few days later.If you find a store which gives better service let me know.Rating 10 from 10

superb selection and quality,I travel from N.I.to buy suits Staff are all well trained and sell without being pushy. Alterations carried out quickly and without charge. A great find and will be recomended.

no bad service and imprtantly they will alter your stuff free

It has good Quality shoes and it will adjust any trousers that dont quit fit. May not be as cheap as supermarkets but is better some that are too expensive. could be a little more adventureous, but I dare say there is a practical reason for that like the prices would go funny.

we loved this shop and the one that is in ediburgh now it saves us coming though to glasgow got my hubbies wedding suit from there and 17 yrs later my sons first suit so i would say we shop a lot in it always nice ppl

great store

went shopping on saturday with my fiance for an outfit for our engagement party and my fiance got fully kitted out for a tremendous price and great names like ted baker! for �130 which was amazing he was thinking he would have spent over �300 and was opnly half of that so gave us more money to spend on myself! haa haa the service was out of this world and have been telling family and friends how helpful you all were! will be shopping in here again and again! thanks !

GOOD OLD FASHIONED SERVICE

Went to Liverpool store as do a lot of the others in the Lodge just fo get a quality of service which has now been lost in todays highstreet and value that is hard to beat especially as your suit is altered as part of the price

Excellent selection in clothing, superb and professional service. I did all my shopping and it was so easy at Slaters. I was in Slaters menswear twice 14th and 16th of last nov. 2005. Didd not have to spend time in other shops, got all I wanted in one place. I tell all my friends where to go first when they are in Glasgow :-). Thanks to Bobby Graham for his professional help.
