Parthenon, Glasgow

The Parthenon serves coffee and snacks, as well as authentic Greek dishes and Cypriot specialities. The restaurant underwent a major refurbishment in celebration of its 10th anniversary and is now a mellow mix of earth tones, murals and chunky natural wood. Civilised, but with a somewhat relaxed atmosphere, there are lots of special offers for lunchtimes and early evening. Of course an a la carte menu is available for those who wish to have the most extensive choice at their fingertips and anyone who doesn't like making decisions can opt for the delicious traditional mezedes (for two people or more), which allows you to sample lots of different starters and main courses. A wealth of options - and they won't try to make you dance.
