This is an energetic and dynamic group of individuals devoted to making cycling enjoyable and routes accessible. They have organized many events and projects, and continue to broaden and develop every year: Safe Routes to School, Green Transport Plans and Cycling Zones are just a few of their initiatives, and they are also involved with such groups as Cyclethon and the Bike Fest. The National Cycle Network is one of their big projects at the moment. With this network 10,000 miles of cycling routes will be made available, marked, mapped and maintained around the UK.
