Description
This is reputedly Edinburgh's oldest pub, with a "Sheep's Heid" on the same spot since 1360. It is in the middle of pretty Duddingston Village, alongside some of the most desirable property in the city, and makes an evocative end to a walk around Arthur's Seat . There is a wonderful beer garden complete with a skittle alley. Come here to smell the medieval atmosphere and feast on the great value food.
I've visited pubs the length and breadth of Britain and I've rarely found a place with so much cahrm and atmosphere. the staff are friendly the food is great, a few more whiskies and it would be complete.
